Overview

Caburé is a legendary spot located at the mouth of the Rio Preguiças, the gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses. This sandbar between river and ocean offers unique conditions with flat water on the river side and waves on the sea side. The wind is powerful and steady, but the spot is reserved for advanced riders due to currents and isolation. A must-visit in Maranhão.
