Overview

Cottesloe is an iconic Perth beach in Western Australia, known for its turquoise waters and laid-back atmosphere. Although primarily a swimming and surfing beach, Cottesloe offers kite conditions in southwest winds with chop and small waves. The "Fremantle Doctor" blows from the southwest from November to March. The spot is best suited for intermediate to advanced riders. Watch out for the crowd of swimmers in summer. Numerous cafes and restaurants along the promenade. Dedicated kite spots like Woodman Point or Pinaroo Point are more suitable nearby.
