The spot enjoys both the Maestrale (northwest) and the thermal sea breeze (east-northeast) in the afternoon. Located near Olbia, Budoni is easily accessible and is a popular destination for kiters visiting northeast Sardinia. Free parking available behind the beach in Budoni. Easy access from the SS125 coastal road. Several kite schools and rental shops nearby. Restaurants and facilities available along the seafront.
Hazards
Thermal sea breeze in the afternoon can drop suddenly at sunset — plan your session accordingly. Rocks along the coast south of the beach. Some boat traffic near the marina. Watch for swimmers during summer season.
