Overview

Skala Oropou is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of Attica, facing the island of Euboea in Greece. This spot is situated in the Strait of Euripus, a narrow arm of the sea that channels the winds. The spot benefits from north to northeast winds that accelerate through the strait, particularly in summer with the Meltemi. The body of water is relatively protected and offers conditions suitable for intermediate riders. It is a convenient spot for kitesurfers from Athens.
