Overview

Eastern Beach is a popular family beach located in Howick, on the east coast of Auckland. Facing north-east, this sandy beach offers an open body of water on the Hauraki Gulf with moderate chop conditions. NE and E winds create onshore to side-shore conditions. The spot is suitable for intermediates. The beach is very busy in summer with swimmers. Parking and amenities available. Beautiful view of Rangitoto Island.
