Overview
Nivå is a kitesurf spot on the east coast of Zealand facing the Øresund, south of Copenhagen. The spot offers a large shallow water area ideal for all levels. The shore is grassy with no sandy beach, with reeds along the edge. East wind is ideal for kitesurfing, while southwest suits windsurfing better. Parking available on site.

Large shallow area with flat water and chop. Clean water with no tides. Shallow bottom deepening toward the centre of the Øresund. Stable and predictable conditions, ideal for learning and progression.
Hazards
Commercial shipping lanes in the Øresund. Reefs in the southern section. Road near the shore. No sandy beach — grassy shore with reeds.
