Limfjord flat water (Venø Bugt), west coast of the island. Shallow and sheltered waters. West and northwest winds create the best conditions. Wetsuit recommended.
Hazards
Kleppen-Venø ferry traffic. Easterly winds push away from the island, across Venø Bugt. Port infrastructure to avoid. The fjord can freeze over in winter.
