Spyder Surf Shop

Spyder Surf Shop is a surf shop in Montalivet on the Atlantic coast, opened in 1989 with the help of Dennis Jarvis, shaper and president of Spyder Surfboards Corp. It is run by Philippe Rodes.

The shop specialises in longboards and gliders (9-foot pro models and 10-foot classic noseriders), mid-lengths and shortboards, new or secondhand, including hand-crafted and collector's boards. It also sells accessories imported from California, American Birdwell boardshorts, fins and wax.

The team makes a winter surf trip to the USA every year to source boards. The website lists among its shapers and brands Becker, Bing, Gordon & Smith, Hap Jacobs, Lightning Bolt, Ryan Lovelace, Hobie, Takayama, Weston and Spyder.
