Waïmea Surf Shop

Waïmea Surf Shop is a surf shop in Anglet, in the Chambre d'Amour area, open since 1976. According to its website it has been facing the waves of the Basque coast for almost half a century.

The shop sells new and used surf, foil and wing equipment: surfboards, surfoil gear, leashes, fins and wetsuits. An online shop allows orders with in-store pickup or home delivery (72 hours announced).

Waïmea also rents boards (2 hours, half day, day or week) and runs a surf school, Waïmea Surf School, on the Sables d'Or beach in Anglet: group lessons, private lessons and coaching with state-qualified instructors, from age 7.

The website lists many brands, including Dakine, Appletree, F-One, O'Neill, KT, Manera, Firewire, Haydenshapes, DHD, Lost and Pyzel.
