Le Club de la Glisse

Le Club de la Glisse is a surf school that has been based on Marinella beach in Anglet since 1988. Its structure sits directly on the sand, with direct access to the break, and its website states it is open from 1 April to 15 November.

The team is made up of state-qualified instructors (professional surf certificate). Lessons suit beginners and experienced surfers; they follow the tides, mostly at low tide, with a welcome 15 minutes before the session, equipment provided and a theory part on the sand before entering the water. The instructor stays in the water throughout the session.

The school offers group lessons, individual lessons and 3 or 5-day courses. By appointment, it also organises stand-up paddle and Hawaiian outrigger canoe sessions in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Weekly lesson schedules are published on the website, with news items from August 2026.
