McTavish Surfboards Brookvale

The McTavish Brookvale shop, on Harbord Road, is the Sydney store of the McTavish surfboard brand, which began in 1962 with Bob McTavish, a leading figure of the Shortboard Revolution. His son Ben carries on the design work today.

It offers the McTavish board range (shortboards, twin fins, single fins, mid-lengths, longboards and gliders), along with accessories and a clothing line. The brand's other shop is in Byron Bay.
