Whangamata Surf Shop is a surf shop on Port Road in Whangamatā, on the Coromandel coast. It sells surfboards (shortboards, longboards, mini mals and soft tops) from several shapers, including Pyzel, JS, NSP, Torq, Walden and Salt Gypsy.
The hardware range covers wetsuits (springsuits, steamers, rash tops, booties, gloves and hoods), leg ropes, fins, wax, repair kits, board bags and soft racks. It also stocks clothing and accessories from surf brands such as O'Neill, Rip Curl, Roxy and Hurley. The website has a board hire page, and an online store is open around the clock.
