Boarders Surf Shop is a family-run surf and skate shop in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York City. Opened in 2004 on Beach 92nd Street, it is owned by surfers native to Rockaway and sits two blocks from the ocean.
It carries surfboards, skateboards, wetsuits, swimwear and apparel, custom gear and repairs. The shop rents surf and paddle boards by the day, with a locker, hot showers and heated changing rooms for visitors arriving by train or ferry without their gear. Surf lessons are given on the beach at Beach 69th Street by NY Surf School, which Boarders' website refers to.
