Locals Surf School

Locals Surf School is a surf school in the Rockaways, New York City's Atlantic-facing peninsula. It has 11 years of experience and is accredited by NSSIA and ISA.

Surf lessons run seven days a week all year: group lessons, one-hour private lessons, two-hour semi-private lessons, surf and yoga sessions, outings and parties. Lesson packages and a "Learn with the Owners" package are available.

For children, the school runs morning, afternoon and full-day camps (surf and skate) and a skate camp; skate lessons are also offered. A gear rentals page is available on the website. Bookings by phone or text.
