Sunset Surf Shack

Sunset Surf Shack is a surf shop in Montauk, at the tip of Long Island, New York, run by a local family. It rents surf and paddle gear and sells accessories and apparel.

Rentals include hard-top and soft-top surfboards, paddleboards, bodyboards, skimboards, wetsuits, plus e-bikes, beach cruiser bikes, chairs and umbrellas. For beginners, the shop offers free land-based surf and paddle lessons before heading into the water with a board rented on site.

The shop also sells wetsuits, rash guards and wax.
