7th Street Surf Shop

Opened in 1986 in Ocean City, New Jersey, 7th Street Surf Shop is a surf shop on the Boardwalk, facing the lifeguard-protected 7th Street Beach.

The shop sells surf gear and apparel and has been running surf lessons for more than twenty-five years: group lessons, private lessons and surf camps. Lessons take place right in front of the shop at 654 Boardwalk. Soft, safer surfboards have widened the crowd, with whole families, girls as well as boys, from age 6 to 76 according to the website.

The brand has four shops in Ocean City (720 Asbury Ave, 654 Asbury Ave, 654 Boardwalk and 1118 Boardwalk). To check availability for lessons and camps, call the Boardwalk shop or stop by; lessons are paid in advance.
