South Coast Surf Shop Pacific Beach

South Coast Surf Shop is a San Diego surf institution: the first store opened in Ocean Beach in 1974, and the Pacific Beach shop at 740 Felspar Street is one of its locations.

The shop sells custom and stock surfboards (including its own line and brands such as Channel Islands, Firewire, Lost, Pyzel and Surftech), a large wetsuit selection, surf accessories (leashes, fins, wax, traction, repair kits) and apparel. Brands include O'Neill, Rip Curl, Roxy, NSP and Dakine.

South Coast rents surfboards, bodyboards and wetsuits at its Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach shops, with a deposit at pickup.
