Cardiff Surf Co. is a family business in Cardiff by the Sea, directly across the street from the San Elijo State Beach campground. Jeff shapes the boards and his son Jay does the glassing.
The shop specializes in custom surfboards: shortboards, classic longboards, fish, guns and SUPs. Its in-house label, Iron Cross Surfboards, covers beginners to advanced surfers, with classic single-fin longboards, shortboards, fish and soft boards.
The shop rents boards (soft or fiberglass), bodyboards, wetsuits, beach chairs and umbrellas, and also sells wetsuits, accessories and apparel.
