Red Dog Surf Shop

Red Dog Surf Shop is New Smyrna Beach's local surf shop in Florida, opened in December 1989 by Dave Sokoll. Locally owned and operated, it describes itself as one of the last remaining core surf shops on Florida's east coast.

The shop says it carries the widest board selection in town: performance boards (Lost, Channel Islands, Orion, Hayden Shapes, Thrash Craft), fun shapes and longboards (Torq, Modern, Salt Gypsy, TCSS), soft-tops (Softech, Catch Surf, Wave Bandit), skimboards (Zap, Apex) and bodyboards, plus clothing from surf brands and its own gear. It also does ding repair and board rentals, and posts a daily surf report on its website.

Monday to Friday 9 am to 8 pm; Sunday 9 am to 7 pm.
