Channel Islands Surfboards Santa Barbara

Channel Islands Surfboards is a surfboard brand founded in 1969 in Santa Barbara, California, by Al and Terry Merrick. Its flagship store is at 36 Anacapa Street.

The website describes a development, testing and building facility in Santa Barbara, close to Rincon. Britt Merrick, Al's son, is the lead shaper and designer and has shaped since 1990. Tom Curren and Dane Reynolds are among the surfers named.
