SPINOUT

SPINOUT is a board sports shop – snow, skate and water – in Lenzburg, canton of Aargau. It started in 1986 with holiday courses in Hyères; the business, now the company SPINOUT AG run by its owner Thomas Keusch, has since expanded into kitesurfing, SUP, wake, wing foiling and hydrofoiling. The shop on Sägestrasse is backed by an online store; alongside skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding and BMX, water sports take up a large part of the range.

Wing foiling is its strongest line, with more than 200 items online (wings, boards, foils, harnesses, bags, protection) from brands such as Duotone, F-One, Cabrinha, Flysurfer, JP Australia, NeilPryde, Fanatic, ION, Mystic, Ride Engine, Manera, Axis, Armstrong, Ensis, Slingshot, North and Ozone. The kitesurf section is smaller (Duotone and Cabrinha kites, often from past seasons, Flysurfer bars, Mystic, ION and Prolimit harnesses); pump foiling, windsurfing, SUP, surfing, kayaking, wetsuits, and snowkites and bars complete the offer. The shop also sells used and demo gear and runs a repair service.

SPINOUT rents out kite, wing, foil, windsurf and SUP gear all year round for Swiss lakes or holidays; from ten rental days, the days paid are deducted if you then buy. It runs wing foil lessons at Tennwil on Lake Hallwil (board, wing and wetsuit included), pump foil taster sessions near Lenzburg and SUP lessons; windsurf lessons are booked through the Windsurfclub Hallwilersee. The company also operates its own water sports base on the Almanarre spot in Hyères (France), open from March to November, with windsurf and wing foil lessons and accommodation bookable from Lenzburg.
