Sunsetshop

Sunsetshop is a watersports shop at the Barkenhafen, the harbour of Nidau, on the shore of Lake Biel. It says it has been in board sports since 1997. It is run by the two managing partners of Pipeline Sports GmbH, the company that also runs the Pipeline sports shops in Biel/Bienne (Albrecht-Haller-Strasse 11) and Solothurn. Within the group, kitesurfing, wing, windsurfing and wetsuits are handled at Sunsetshop; the shared online shop is on pipeline-sports.ch, under "Watersports by Sunsetshop".

The shop sells kites, bars and kiteboards, wings, wing and pump foil boards and foils, harnesses, wetsuits and SUPs. It rents kite gear (kite with bar, board or full set), wing gear (wing, board and foil, separately or as a set) and pump foils, as well as more than 70 stand up paddle boards. The team includes a wingfoil, kite and kitefoil and SUP instructor, and small-group pump foil lessons are offered in three weekly slots.

A workshop repairs boards (surf, wing, windsurf, SUP), foils and pads, and replaces bladders in kites and wings. The shop also rents SUP storage spaces at the harbour, with a changing room and shower, and runs a series of SUP races in summer.
