L'Oc Surf

L'Oc Surf is a watersports shop at 50 avenue de la Jetée in Gruissan-Plage, across from the Vieille-Nouvelle spot. It describes itself as a windsurfing, windfoil and wingfoil specialist. The same company (SARL Kaony) also runs the Le Cers bar and restaurant next door, overlooking the beach.

The shop sells new equipment (boards, sails, masts, booms, fins, foils, wingfoil wings and boards, accessories, wetsuits and clothing) and a large range of second-hand gear, including a few kitesurf kites. Brands include Patrik Diethelm, JP Australia, NeilPryde, Tabou, Exocet, GA Sails, S2 Maui, Loft Sails and FMX Racing, with Forward Wip, Lisa and Nautix for accessories. Trade-ins of used gear are possible, and online and mail-order sales take over during the winter.

Windsurf sail and kite repairs are handled by the Kiss Couture workshop in Narbonne: gear can be dropped off at the shop, and a quote is given once the damage has been assessed.
