Beach Break Surf Camp

Beach Break Surf Camp is a beachfront surf hotel on Playa Venao, on the Azuero Peninsula. Founded in the early 2000s by a travelling Israeli surfer, it is now run by lifelong surfers, joined by a husband-and-wife team of Brazilian jiu-jitsu experts.

Packages include beachfront rooms, daily surf coaching with qualified instructors and video analysis, and equipment rental. An intro program for beginners and an upgrade program for more advanced surfers are offered, along with a "surf belt" progression system.

The on-site Beach Break Academy offers Brazilian jiu-jitsu, yoga, kickboxing and a weight room, all included in the packages. The camp also welcomes families and retreats and rents two private houses; the Pizza Gavilan restaurant is on the property.
