Mentawai Surf Retreat

Mentawai Surf Retreat is a boutique surf resort facing the Pitstops wave in the northern Mentawai Islands, at Katurei (Siberut). It offers three beachfront luxury bungalows set in tropical gardens on Pitstop hill.

A beachfront restaurant and bar, a lounge and views over the wave and Siberut Island set the scene. More than twenty-five waves are nearby; experienced surf guides give forecast advice and lead the sessions.

Off the water, the team runs village and island visits, paddle sessions and snorkelling in very clear water. All-women surf retreats are also on the programme.
