Room2Board Hostel and Surf School

Room2Board is a boutique hostel right on Jacó beach, on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast. It offers private rooms and dorms, a pool with a waterslide, a restaurant and bar, a co-working space and yoga classes.

It runs its own surf school: private or group lessons with bilingual instructors (Spanish and English), board and rash guard included, plus 3, 5 or 7-lesson packages for hostel guests. A shop sells basics such as rash guards, wax and sunscreen.

Surfers can rent a board by the day; storage for personal gear is free for guests. Tours such as ziplining and wildlife outings can also be booked on site.
