Baja Joe's Resort

Baja Joe's is a resort hotel directly on the beach in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, on what it calls the best kite launch in the bay. It has rooms, a café, a Tex-Mex restaurant, a rooftop yoga deck and house-brewed beer.

The hotel has a gear shed right on the beach, so guests can rig and go, and a café and kite and wing shop open daily from 7 am to 2 pm in high season, specialising in Duotone and Ion gear.

The Elevation Kite & Wing Center, an IKO centre, teaches kite and wing foil lessons on the hotel's beach, with jet-ski assistance; kite, foil, wing and SUP rentals are available. The hotel also offers no-wind activities: scuba diving, fishing, snorkelling and boat safaris.

Café and shop: daily 7 am to 2 pm in high season (October to April).
