School Presentation

The Cap 21 sailing school is the intercommunal school of Isigny-Omaha Intercom, based on quai Crampon in Grandcamp-Maisy. It offers group courses in July and August (single 2.5-hour sessions or 3-day packages) and 1.5-hour private lessons all year in dinghy, catamaran, stand up paddle and windsurfing.

Stated ages are 8 to 11 in Optimist, 11 to 15 in Topaz 12 ft, 16 and over in Topaz 16 ft and 12 and over in windsurfing. There are also Saturday leisure sailing, aquatic walking (longe-côte), kite flying, a discovery trip on the old rigged ship L'Union, and rental of catamarans, kayaks, paddles (including a giant paddle for 6 to 8 people) and windsurfers.

Instruction is provided by qualified instructors, and aquatic walking by leaders trained by the French hiking federation. An FFVoile Passeport Voile licence is required for courses and lessons. 2026 prices and schedules are published as PDFs on the school's page.
