School Presentation
K'Roll Surf School is the surf school that grew out of the K'Roll Surf Club, created in 2022, based in Carolles (parking des Falaises) and active along the Granville coast. François Le Roux, a state-certified instructor and lifeguard with more than 25 years of Norman surfing, founded it to share his passion. The website carries a 2026 copyright.
Lessons are for all levels from age 8, with swimming ability required. A session includes 30 minutes of welcome and preparation, a warm-up on the sand, 1.5 hours in the water and a debrief. The spot is chosen according to swell, wind, tides and level: Kairon, gentle and regular, for beginners, or Carolles, more versatile, to progress. Meeting points are the Paillote car park (Kairon) or the Carolles car park, with the exact place given at booking. In poor conditions the session may be postponed or cancelled.
A board suited to the level, a full 5 mm wetsuit and a leash are provided, plus booties and hood in winter. The school is open from March to December.
