8 Milles Nautic – Base nautique de Granville

8 Milles Nautic is the watersports base of the Granville-Chausey bay (260 boulevard des Amiraux Granvillais), which also operates bases at Bréhal, Bréville and Jullouville. Its website offers the 2026 season booklet and the 2026-2027 club activities booklet.

Courses cover Matelot, Optimist, catamaran (ages 8-10, 11-14, 15 and over), windsurfing (from age 10 or 12), WingFoil and multi-glide. In group lessons there is land yachting from age 10, discovery sessions (WingFoil, catamaran from 14, windsurfing), WingFoil improvement, speedwing, kayak, a pirogue experience in the mussel beds and a historic sailing trip around Granville. The base also prepares for coastal and offshore boat licences. The year-round club includes Optimist (6-9), Club Pirate (5-7), catamarans, windsurfing, WingFoil in spring and autumn, Ilca and multi-sailing.

The Granville base has accommodation (a panoramic apartment for up to 6, rooms for 2 to 4) and a catering area. It is affiliated with the FFVoile and the FFCV, and offers a gift card and a multi-site pass from 40 EUR.
