Hina Surf

Hina Surf is a surf school in Saint-Malo based on the Esplanade des Mouettes, on the Sillon seawall, facing Rochebonne beach. Its website shows visuals from March 2025 and relays the qualification of school competitors for the 2026 French championship.

Group lessons gather a maximum of eight people for 1.5-hour sessions, regardless of the tide. The minimum age is 6 to 7 depending on the site's pages, once the child is comfortable in the water. The school also offers surf therapy, paddle training, an advanced level with the Émeraude Surf Stand Up club, and rental of surfboards, paddles, wetsuits and bodyboards. In poor conditions the instructor may adapt or cancel the session, and the school works with the Rochebonne/Hoguette lifeguard team.

The school is open every day from April to November; the schedule is available by contacting it. The site displays the logos of the French Surfing Federation, Destination Saint-Malo and Tourisme Bretagne.
