Soul Surfing Skol

Soul Surfing Skol (Skol means "school" in Breton) is a surf and bodyboard school in the bay of Audierne, founded by Julien Jallet. It has been sharing its passion for surfing for almost fifteen years; Julien has surfed for over 30 years and taught for over 20, including in the Landes.

It offers surf lessons by the session, courses of 2 to 5 days in an intensive format or year-round training, and rental of surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits and fins. A B&B surf camp, the Soul Surfin' House, hosts 10 people in 4 bedrooms, 140 m from the ocean, with packages combining surf, yoga or pilates.

Lessons depend on tides and conditions, mainly at Gwendrez beach (Plouhinec) and Plovan in summer, and at Le Ris beach in the bay of Douarnenez. Julien is state-certified by the French Surf Federation and holds the BNSSA lifeguard diploma; instructors are state-certified, with professional cards and insurance. Booking is online.
