School Presentation
The École de Surf de Bretagne in Penhors is based at the Pôle Nautique on Penhors Plage, in Pouldreuzic, since 2003. It is certified in the École de Surf de Bretagne network and displays the École Française de Surf label; the federal licence is included in the lesson price.
It teaches surfing, bodyboarding and stand up paddle at all levels, by the session or in courses during school holidays, with off-season lessons on request and a quarterly club formula (Saturday or Wednesday). The one-hour SUP Wave is open from age 12, Monday to Saturday.
The centre is about ten metres from the beach, in a Natura 2000 area. Around 50 boards and 4/3 mm wetsuits renewed every year are provided, with leash and changing room. Instructors are state-certified. The school is open from April to November and is taking bookings for the 2026 season; contacting it before booking online is recommended.
