Société des Régates de la Bernerie

The Société des Régates de la Bernerie (SRB) runs all the activities of its sailing club on the main beach of La Bernerie-en-Retz, about thirty minutes from Nantes. Its website reports the reopening of the sailing school in March 2026, with 25 volunteers involved, and an open day on 23 May 2026.

Sailing courses take place during the Easter, summer and All Saints holidays: optimist, windsurfing (Sensation, Exploration and Performance programmes), Laser Pico, Catsy catamarans (from age 9), S12 (from age 11), RS 14 and Hobie Cat 16. The club also offers sand-yachting on the beach, private lessons on all craft except sand-yachts (one hour minimum) and wingfoil in private lessons or rental.

It also offers year-round leisure sailing, free sailing within the club's safety zone, paddle and maxi-paddle rental, a boat park, offers for groups, companies and schools, and training (N4, instructor).
