Club Nautique des Moutiers

The Club Nautique des Moutiers (CNM) is the sailing club of Les Moutiers-en-Retz, in Loire-Atlantique, based at the Claude Georget nautical base on rue du Sauvetage. Its website presents it as a historic club that trained, among others, a participant in the Seoul Olympic Games in the Flying Dutchman and a sailor who took part in two Vendée Globe races. It describes itself as a French Sailing School and displays the logos of the FFVoile, the regional league and the departmental committee.

The sailing school runs from March to November, with sailing on Saturdays depending on the tides. The club organises holiday sailing courses open to all, private lessons, tailor-made offers for campsites, works councils and holiday centres, as well as regattas reserved for members.

In summer, kayaks and paddleboards are rented at the base, which has a boat park. Tourist offices also announce wing foil lessons.
