Kitesurf Vendée

Kitesurf Vendée is a kitesurfing and wing foil school run by Gérard Bousseau, who holds the BPJEPS aerotowed gliding sports diploma, trained at the École Nationale de Voile in Quiberon and then with UCPA, with more than 20 years of practice. The school is affiliated with the French Free Flight Federation (FFVL) and is open all year.

The meeting point is the marina of La Faute-sur-Mer, behind the golf course. A 6 m rigid inflatable boat takes students to a reserved sandbank, reachable only by boat, at the Pointe d'Arçay, next to the nature reserve, in shallow water facing the Île de Ré.

Lessons and courses are limited to four people, with radios to stay in contact during sessions, and can be done in open water or as first tows from the boat. The school uses new Duotone equipment and 5 mm wetsuits, and offers kitesurf and wingfoil coaching as well as gift vouchers.
