Koa Surf School is a family surf school created in 2005 and based at La Terrière beach in La Tranche-sur-Mer, in the Vendée. Its instructors hold the state surf diploma and welcome children, teenagers and adults.
The offer covers beginner, intermediate and advanced surf sessions and courses, the Jardin des vagues from age 5, private lessons, Handi Surf and group bookings (schools, leisure centres, companies, stag and hen parties). The school also offers skate (beginners and intermediate), bodyboard, stand up paddle and a club programme, with courses during school holidays.
Rental packs (surfboard and wetsuit, SUP, winter pack) are sold on its website. The school is open all year by appointment, and from 9 am to 7 pm in July and August.
