La Cabane Verte is a sailing school in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, at Gros Jonc beach (3 rue des Cailliées), presented as a family business on the island of Ré for thirty years and affiliated with the French Sailing Federation. Its website carries a 2026 copyright; it is open from March to November, with surfboard and stand up paddle rental announced all year.
It offers courses and private lessons for children, juniors and adults on sport catamarans, windsurf boards or stand up paddles, as well as wing foil lessons by specialist instructors, and rents catamarans, windsurf boards, sea kayaks, surfboards and stand up paddles, including a giant paddle. The catamarans are Hobie Cats and Mattias, the windsurf boards Starboards. It also organises water and land activities (stag and hen parties, team building, seminars with accommodation) and formulas for leisure centres.
Instructors hold the state diploma. English is spoken, and ANCV holiday vouchers and PayPal are accepted.
