Club Nautique des Portes-en-Ré

Club Nautique des Portes-en-Ré has been getting "young and not-so-young" sailing since 1966, at the northern tip of the island of Ré, at 1 promenade de la Mer. It operates from three sites: the Gros Jonc sailing base, La Loge and the Optimist marsh. Its website shows a 2026 copyright, announces the arrival of the E-Foil and the IODA in January 2026 and summer 2026 kitesurfing.

Courses cover optimist on the marsh for ages 6 to 8 in summer, dinghy at sea (optimist, ages 7 to 9), catamaran (Topaz 12 for ages 9 to 12, Topaz 14 for ages 12 to 15, Topcat from 15), dinghy (Laser Fusion from 9 to 14, Laser Vago from 15), windsurfing, kitesurfing in July and August (with an instructor, Laurent, from late June to early September) and wing-foil, accessible without prior experience. The club rents Topcat catamarans of 15 to 18 feet for 1 to 3 people, initiation and windsurf boards at Gros Jonc or La Loge beach in summer, kayaks and stand up paddles, and offers private lessons and groups.

Partners shown include the French Sailing Federation, Famille Plus and the ANCV; outings are also announced at All Saints.
