Antioche Kayak

Antioche Kayak was created on 1 May 2004 in Fouras, on the peninsula, with a rental point on the main beach. Its founder, Benoît Rivalland, holds a state sports educator diploma in canoe-kayak (sea kayak qualification), is a former shipwright on the Hermione project, and a BAFA youth leader. The business holds the Youth and Sports approval, works with the school inspectorate, accepts ANCV vouchers and offers a discount with the Rochefort Océan Privilege Card. The offer includes guided commented sea kayak trips in the Pertuis sea and the Marais Vert, cruises to Fort Boyard with a stop on Île d'Aix, courses (learning, safety, touring), individual training, à-la-carte sessions, stays (weekend, Île d'Oléron, Balearic cruise), events and school supervision. Rentals cover stand up paddle, kayak, canoe, outrigger canoe, sailing kayak and a three-seat family decked kayak with rudder; gift vouchers are available.

Since 2020, the Fouras peninsula and the Charente estuary have been part of the Gironde estuary and Pertuis sea marine nature park. Activity is announced all year.
