School Presentation
Wally Glisse is a surf school set in the Plage du Lion car park ("Super Sud") in Lacanau, in a welcome area made of two fitted-out containers. The beach is supervised by lifeguards, parking is free and shaded, and access is easy by bike along the cycle path. The school is run by Yann Boufflers.
It is open every day and offers surf, surf foil, bodyboard and longboard lessons for all levels from age 7, with a qualified team. Equipment (board and wetsuit) and French Surfing Federation insurance are included, as well as souvenir photos of the session. Surf foil is limited to two students and assumes you already master the basics of surfing.
Wally Glisse also runs a skateboard school at the Lacanau town skatepark, with a combined surf and skate package, and a ride and accommodation package with a 10% discount at Moutchic Inn. Equipment rental is available, and the online shop offers apparel.
