Soulsurfer's Lacanau, kitesurf craftsman in Lacanau

Soulsurfer's Lacanau is the workshop of Olivier Labat, a shaper based in Lacanau-Océan at 24 rue Chambrelent, who has been shaping surfboards in the Gironde resort since 1995. The website cites about 985 boards built and 400 boards repaired over twenty-five years of experience.

The workshop is both a production space and a board shop: hand-made custom surfboards (shortboards, midboards, longboards, guns, fish, eggs), board repair (ding repair), second-hand boards and rental. Olivier Labat welcomes surfers to advise them on the type of board that suits them and to show them the different models.
