Silver Coast Surf School

Silver Coast is a surf school founded in 2005 by brothers Rudy and Ludo, set on the north Remember beach at Mimizan-Plage (Landes). The tourist office describes a friendly, family atmosphere.

The school offers group lessons, private lessons, advanced coaching and courses, organised by age group, skill level and language. It welcomes children from age 6, adults and families, and lessons can be given in French, English, German and Dutch. Boards and wetsuits can be rented.

Silver Coast states that it has been labelled by the French Surfing Federation since 2006 (FFS quality charter) and holds the Qualité Tourisme mark. Its instructors are presented as experienced and pedagogical.

The school is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm in season; its reception structure is taken down at the end of each season.
