Surf'Lab Labenne

Surf'Lab is a surf school and surf shop at 30 avenue de la Plage in Labenne Océan, between the campsites and the ocean. The school is listed and labelled by the French Surfing Federation; the Landes tourist office presents it as active for almost twenty years.

Lessons take place on the central beach of Labenne Océan, in a family spirit and adapted to each level, with a state-qualified instructor. Beginner and improvement courses and surf equipment rental are offered; groups are accepted from 15 people.

The shop sells surf and bodyboard accessories, skates, wetsuits, rash vests, clothing, beach towels, sunscreen and sunglasses. The business also rents bikes (mountain, trekking, beach cruiser, fat bike, e-bike), repairs them and sells cycles to order.

According to the Landes tourist office: open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 7 pm (shorter hours on Sunday), with opening announced until 31 December 2026.
