Hossegor Surf Center

Hossegor Surf Center is a surf school on the Plage des Culs Nus, boulevard du Front de Mer in Hossegor, open seven days a week. It has two beach huts with showers, changing rooms, a lounge and a video room, and the website also mentions deckchairs facing the ocean.

Lessons range from beginner to expert, from age 6: group lessons, sessions with friends, sunset lessons when the tide allows, one-hour "Super Kids" sessions and 1h15 intermediate lessons in groups of up to 5. Video coaching is offered. Rental equipment suits all levels and sizes and can be exchanged as you progress.

The "Fun & Progression" method was developed by Didier Piter, who holds the state diploma (Brevet d'État 2nd degree) and is presented as an Olympic coach at Paris 2024. The equipment meets the safety criteria of the French Surfing Federation.

During the summer holidays the school is open 9am-8pm; off-season, sessions are organised around low tides.
