Marlin Kite School is a kitesurf school founded on Sal by Marlin, a local professional kitesurfer. It is based on Ponta Preta beach (Riu Funana) in Santa Maria.
Lessons have a maximum of two students per instructor: beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons, a complete 12-hour package in private or semi-private format, downwind trips, and surf and wing foil lessons. Instructors speak English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Creole.
A safety boat supports the lessons. The website also suggests accommodation and sport fishing trips. The Ponta Preta spot hosts a GKA World Tour stop every February.
