Pacific Surf Academy

Pacific Surf Academy is a family-run surf school in Puerto Escondido, on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca. It teaches all levels, from complete beginners to advanced surfers, in private lessons, semi-private lessons or groups.

The instructors are trained in water rescue and first aid, and say they have more than fifteen years of experience and good local knowledge. Lessons last about two hours and include the instructor, a board, transport and a rash guard.

The school also runs surf trips with transport included: a guide takes surfers to the spot that best suits the day's conditions and their level, in Puerto Escondido and the surrounding area.

A shop rents a wide choice of boards and sells clothing and accessories from national and local brands. Pacific Surf Academy can also arrange accommodation in a surf-and-stay package.
