Kuma Surf Camp is a surf school in Weligama on Sri Lanka's south coast, run by Kumara, an instructor certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA). The camp offers lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers, board rental, accommodation, yoga and land activities.
Students learn on Weligama beach, with its gentle waves, before moving on to hard boards and reef spots. The beginner package combines ten lessons (two per day), six nights in a dorm and breakfast. The school also offers private and group lessons, surf guiding and video analysis.
The camp also has a base in Arugam Bay on the east coast.
