Be Cool Surf School is a surf school on Weligama Beach on Sri Lanka's south coast, open since 2013. It is run by local surfers born in the bay, who grew from a few lessons on the sand to a fleet of about 90 boards.
Lessons are taught by ISA-certified instructors, including lead coach Lychee, for all levels from beginners to advanced surfers. Weligama Bay offers gentle sandy-bottom waves that are well suited to learning.
The school offers single lessons (board, rash guard and beach pickup included), day-lesson packages by skill level and all-inclusive one-week camps with beachside accommodation, video analysis and a yoga option.
