Hydrofoil Academy Sydney

Hydrofoil Academy is a foiling school based in Sydney, with an online gear shop. It welcomes beginners as well as riders who want to progress in wing foiling, tow foiling, electric foil assist and surf foiling.

First lessons run two ways: at Rose Bay, tow foiling behind a boat, and at Narrabeen, e-foiling with electric assistance. Each session lasts at least two hours with all gear included. The school also teaches wing foiling at Rose Bay and Narrabeen, and offers progression sessions, private coaching and a "Zero to Hero" weekend camp.

The beginner programme covers how the gear works, stance on the board, the first lift and water safety. The wing lesson focuses on board positioning, power control, take-off sequence and reading the wind.

The online shop sells foils, wings and electric foil kits, including brands such as North and Triple Seven.
